    Mitch East grew up in Round Rock and loved living in the Austin area. He can't believe he's now working for a church in the heart of downtown. Mitch loves church because he loves following Jesus alongside others. He's also a nerd: he loves movies and books, as well as books and movies. He likes to talk about them, too.

    Campus Minister

    Cary and his wife Jinny have worked with Longhorns for Christ, UA's campus mission, since 2012. Cary has previously served in campus ministry at the University of Oklahoma, University of Alabama, Abilene Christian University, and Kansas State University. He likes driving his classic Jeep and playing Ms. Pac-Man.

    Laura Kate Yarbrough is an Austin native with a degree in Children’s Ministry from Lubbock Christian University. Laura Kate has a great passion to show the world who Jesus is through fun and creative ways. When she's not working up at the church, you can find her sipping tea and watching a movie with her husband, Drew.

    worship and youth minister

    Ben Stewart is a recent graduate of Austin Graduate School, where he received a masters in divinity. Born in Cleburne, Texas, Ben has a love for  creating spaces for our youth and church to worship together. If he isn’t leading worship with his wife Jenna or playing his banjo, you’ll find him walking his intern, Charlie (dog/enneagram 2w1).

  • Rayma Lynne Chase

    office Administrator

    Rayma Lynne Chase has been an Administrative Assistant in the UA Office since 2009. She is a life-long member at UA with her husband Glenn and their daughter Alison. She loves people and all four footed things. She gives UA a friendly face.

  • Becki ramsey


    An original Austinite, Becki was a school teacher for many years and then became the UA's accounting administrator in 2002. She has two sons, a little dog named Dora, and two "grandcat's."

    Lane has worked with Longhorns for Christ since 2007. She was born in Austin and UA has been a special place for her throughout the years, including her connection to our campus ministry. She and her husband Carl have two children, Bailey and Allyson.
