The UA Church is a founding member of the Micah 6 Austin coalition,  a consortium of university area churches that work together to serve the homeless and needy. Opportunities for service include the twice weekly food pantry on Thursday nights and Saturday mornings.

“What does the Lord require of you? To do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God.” - Micah 6:8

Services

Micah 6 Food Pantry

The food pantry helps low-income individuals and families meet their most basic need for food and sustenance. Shoppers come from many walks of life: some have mental and physical disabilities, some are burdened with addictions, some are undocumented immigrants with families who do not qualify for government assistance, and some have unexpectedly experienced unemployment or other crisis and are unable to provide food for their families. All are welcome.
