Hospitality - Openness - Unity - Service - Evangelism

The purpose of our HOUSE Groups is to connect with God, one another, and our neighbors. Everyone is invited to participate in a HOUSE Group.

H - Hospitality includes opening your home, but it does not end there.  It means sharing what you have with others, even those you do not know.

O - Openness means we value the opinions of others.  It also means we are open to God’s word in our lives.

U - Unity does not mean uniformity.  The HOUSE Groups offer a unique opportunity to learn about our differences while, at the same time, strengthening our unity.

S - Service means encouraging each other.  And we can serve and encourage each other better if we take the time to get to know each other’s needs.

E - Evangelism simply means telling the good news.  Telling about Jesus is the kind of good gossip we can all be involved in.  How will the lost hear unless someone tells them the good news (Rom. 10:14-15)?

All five of these principles will work simultaneously in the HOUSE Groups. Attention to training and supporting the HOUSE Group teams in these areas is of utmost importance to our church leaders.
