Volunteer to Help
Looking for a way to love, serve, and encourage students? Then this is the place for you. There are a whole host of opportunities for you to use your gifts to bless the lives of students, below are just a few to get you thinking about how to help us out:
Pray --- There's nothing more important that you could do for our students than to pray for them. Sign up for the prayer team and we'll update you on different things happening in LFC throughout the semester and in the lives of our students.
UPLIFT Cafe --- help provide/serve a meal on a Wednesday night. Students love to eat!!
Cookie Monster --- bake some cookies, make some trail mix, or any other snack you like and drop it off for our students to much on throughout the week!
Tailgate Parties --- help us plan, set up, cook, or break down! Come rain or shine we love to support our Longhorn football team!
Mentor/Support --- You remember the challenges you faced in college, this is a chance to share some of the wisdom you learned through your experiences. Over a meal, helping with laundry (providing a washer and dryer!), or maybe a cup of coffee, this is a chance to encourage and support a student.
Lunch Bunch --- Take a student or two out to lunch on the 2nd Sunday of each month. This is a great way to get to know our students and encourage them!
