New Year at UA

2010! The "aught" decade didn't take very long and it got pretty tough for folks there toward the end. At UA Church of Christ, we should be excited about the opportunities God will give us for the new year. I want to place here five points of emphasis for us this year.
Presence—Seek to be filled with the Spirit of God and live in the presence and blessing of God: The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit
Prayer—Be a people of prayer who are committed to the ministry of intercessory prayer
Proclamation—Study, teach and preach the word of God
Praise—Live as a temple of worship
Performance—Do meaningful work as Christ in the community
Our 2010 statement: We are the people of God who live in his Holy Presence, who pray without ceasing and who praise the Lord while proclaiming the Good News of life in Christ and performing the work of Christ in the world.
