Family Ministry
Nurtures children in the love of God's word and the character of one who follows Christ. Offers teenagers a variety of activities, groups, and study to help them grow in Christ's likeness.
In the Family Ministry at University Avenue Church, we believe there is nothing more crucial to our children’s physical, mental and spiritual development than the family in which they are raised. Because of this, we place a high priority on families. Two important facts make up our philosophy on families.
1. We believe that God has the best blueprint for how a family should be built.
2. We are convinced that parents have the most potential to influence their child.
Because of this we strive to design environments to reach and disciple children, students, and adults.
It is our goal to partner with parents to raise spiritual children. We seek to provide resources, people, classes, and events that will equip parents to grow in their personal faith and know how to pass that faith on to their children.
