celebrate 100 years on the corner!

God has given the UA Church a rich legacy of ministry, mission, community, and service during its time on the corner of University Avenue and Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard.

Gather with us to celebrate this centennial milestone on October 28th and 29th, 2017!

The time is near.

It took a hundred years, but the UA Centennial Celebration is now upon us. Untold hours of planning and anticipation will culminate in two days of activities this coming Saturday and Sunday. Refer to schedule highlights below and plan to join us for joyful times of celebration, reunion, and worship. Help us honor our past and embrace our future as we launch our next 100 years on the corner.


Saturday, October 28

  • 10:30am: Doors Open - Pregame snacks and drinks
  • 11:00am: Kickoff - Football Watch Party — UT @ Baylor
  • 12:00pm-1:30pm - Lunch - Mighty Cone and Libbie's Fun Time Food Trucks
  • Location: Longhorns for Christ Campus Center
    Featuring: food trucks, snacks, reunion fellowship, tours of the Campus Center and more

Sunday, October 29

  • 9:00 am: Breakfast tacos and donuts, coffee, juice; Foyer displays featuring UA history
  • 10:00 am: Worship (arrive early!)
  • 11:30am: Catered BBQ reunion lunch following worship services


Parking will be available at the AT&T Conference Center garage across University Avenue or at the state lot directly across MLK Blvd. The church lot is reserved for food trucks and our mobility impaired members.
